The CNY Bankruptcy Bar Association is a not-for profit organization located in Central New York made up of bankruptcy practitioners and professionals concentrated in the field of bankruptcy law.  The organization operates as an association for non-profit and educational purposes for the purpose of promoting the public interest and the administration of justice in bankruptcy and related fields of law, preserving standards of integrity, honor, and courtesy in the bankruptcy profession, and cultivating a spirit of camaraderie and collegiality among our members.  We are a New York State Continuing Legal Education provider and offer regular seminars to our members to promote and facilitate continuing education with a focus on bankruptcy law and practice.

The goal of the organization is to encourage and assist central New York practitioners to offer highly skilled bankruptcy and related legal services to the public by providing education, resources, and opportunities for community outreach to its members.
